Atul obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture in the year 1994 and initiated his professional career with an Industrial Design and Engineering Consultancy company viz. Dalal Consultants P. Ltd (acquired by Mott Macdonald) & later with KIPA Architects from 1997-2006.
During the years 2006 -2010 he served as Principal Architect & Head of Operations (Pune) with STUP Consultants P. Ltd., a multinational Design, Engineering and Project Management with a Pan India and international project presence.
From 2010-17 he served as Chief Architect & Vice-President with Asie Etudes Engineering Consultancy-Oman and STUP International – Dubai (UAE) controlling operations and delivering projects in the Middle-East and North Africa Region (MENA)
A key participant and representative on large scale & specialized project teams / consortium with internationally acclaimed Design companies such as Foster + Partners, AECOM, P&T, ADPI, Perkins & Eastman, etc.,

His expertise emanates from designing, managing, steering and successfully delivering multi-faceted projects across continents, codes, cultures, complexities, scales and to international standards. He has experience across project typologies such as Industrial Facilities, Education Campuses and Student facilities, Hospitality, Healthcare, Recreational & Entertainment facilities, Armed forces, Sports Complexes, Rehabilitation and Up-gradation, Built-to-suit, Specialty Projects, Oil and Gas, etc.

Having acquired multifaceted, multi-dimensional international professional experience he returned to India in 2017 to establish OADEM (The Office for Architecture + Design + Engineering + Management) committed to offer its Clients a Professional managed comprehensive a coordinated, managed and documented service to international standards.
